| Gas Consultants Inc. (GCI) was founded in the spring of 1968 by Carl Suchovsky and Robert White as an appliance manufacturer’s representative at the American Gas Association, AGA (currently CSA International). The two partners had a vision that they could help gas appliance and component manufacturers streamline their certification or listing process by offering the manufacturers a gas appliance product pretesting service along with engineering and development design services. In 1968 GCI opened a small gas appliance testing laboratory and development facility dedicated to helping gas appliance manufacturers. Today Gas Consultants has grown into a 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Cleveland dedicated to the appliance industry along with three high altitude test labs in Colorado. Located in Walton Hills, Ohio, a southeast suburb of Cleveland, Gas Consultants is conveniently located 30 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport by freeway, and 6 miles east of CSA International’s Cleveland facility.
